Overview

Watershed Science is designed to teach participants about their local watershed(s) while learning how to perform field investigations. We will learn about the intricacies of surface water and groundwater and about the subsurface geology in Nevada County. Our field investigations will focus on surface water and groundwater connectivity, water flow and water quality, and data collection protocol. This course is field trip based.
