M.U.D. Tournament

Over the weekend of November 17th-18th, the Bitney College Prep Ultimate Team competed against other Co-Ed teams in a tournament hosted by Mountain Disc Ultimate (M.U.D.), a group of players associated with Feather River College in Quincy. Marc Eastman, the tournament director, put our whole team up at his home, and everyone at the event provided a lot of support and encouragement to our new team.

All of the other players at the tournament were very experienced, and there was only one other high school team there. In fact, the team that won the tournament, Tahoe's Donner Party, went to Nationals this year in the Co-Ed division. As a result, we were happy to score points against all of the teams we came up against. The highlight of the tournament was when our team, down 12-2 against Red Hand (the other high school team), mounted a major comeback. We scored 6 unanswered points (before finally losing 13-8). Most of the pictures on this page were from that game.
