Through Sierra College’s Academic Enrichment program, Bitney students can take Sierra classes that count both as high school credit and college credit. Many of these courses will count as transfer credit later at a 4-year university. Students should consult with his/her Advisor(s) and/or Bitney’s Dean of Academics to make sure that they are taking the appropriate course for graduation and transfer purposes as well as to make sure that the class fits in with their high school schedule.
To be eligible for Academic Enrichment classes, students must:
- Be at least 15 years of age.
- Have completed the tenth grade (Your official transcript MUST reflect completion of ALL 10th grade courses.)
- Have 3.0 GPA
