Course Description

This class will consist of planning and organizing a number of community service projects focusing on the interests of the students in the class. The possibilities range from visiting and/or singing for the elderly in convalescent homes, to hosting a monthly soup kitchen for the poor, to clean ups at local parks or the river. Students will spend an average of one day a week on supervised field trips doing service projects, possibly more, once the projects are established. Earn community service hours and/or elective credit for participation in this class!
