Rick Kirkpatrick

Experience:

Rick Kirkpatrick has taught guitar in the Nevada City area for the past twelve years.  He enjoys a solid reputation and loyal following from students of all ages.  Rick also created a non-profit junior high rock music program called The13.   The program is now in its seventh year and Rick has directed over 100 kids to interact, learn music and perform at a professional level while still having fun.   Rick is also a singer-songwriter working on music for his second release, a follow up to his first cd, Up Til Now.  One of Rick’s inspirations comes from legendary Texas singer-songwriter Bob Willis, “Don’t know ‘nuff about music to hurt my playin’.”  On the contrary, Rick knows enough about music to be a solid influence on the Bitney Band.
