Student Expectations
- Students are expected to arrive on time and begin work promptly. There is always work to be done either planning, prepping or working on any given assignment. Remember participation is 15% of your grade.
- Clean up after yourself! You are responsible for your work area, the sinks and the supply room. Give yourself enough time to clean up before the end of the period, but make sure you are not sitting around idly. Usually two to five minutes will suffice for clean up.
- Thoroughly clean and rinse and put away brushes, paint palettes, and containers. Once paint dries on a brush, that brush is ruined, so make sure you clean them thoroughly.
- Tightly close all paint cans, paint tubes and ink containers.
- All materials borrowed from the supply room must be returned to their proper place.
- Keep all your work for the semester in your portfolio. A final grade will be given at the end of the semester for a complete portfolio.
- Always respect the artwork of others!
Sketchbook/Notebook
You will be asked to maintain a sketchbook and notebook that will be collected and graded periodically.
Quizzes

Participation
