Bitney College Prep is a small college preparatory public charter high school in Grass Valley, California serving students in the Sierra Foothills areas of Grass Valley, Nevada City, Penn Valley, Rough & Ready, Chicago Park, and Auburn. Bitney is currently looking for a new Director. The school is run with a determined entrepreneurial spirit and far greater collaboration from staff than most educational enterprises. For fifteen years Bitney has been an important and viable option for many young people in our area. We aim high academically, yet maintain a conscious faith in human energy, curiosity, and compassion for the individual and school community.
The ideal candidate will possess the energy and vision to keep it so. Applicants must also exhibit excellent communication skills and be competent in the areas of facilities management and budget. This position will remain open until filled.
